Nvidia 416.94 issues

Will_172

I bought my Nvidia GeForce 1050ti a couple days ago

And today I updated the drivers. The latest update doesn't let my use my 1050ti, gives me Error 43 but the old driver works with no errors.

The driver update 416.94 means that I can't play my games, I try to play Gold Rush and it crashes, I play Farming Simulator 19 and try improve the graphics options on Farming Simulator to High and it crashes but it runs at Medium, this is not the games fault.
I checked on my drivers, and the error appeared on the 1050ti and it was Error 43, after I updated the card to 416.94

However, the older version I have runs perfectly fine but restricts me to a handful of games which I don't really enjoy, and it won't let me change the graphics.
Any help on this would be appreciated quite a lot as I am finding this difficult to solve and any recommendations as to what driver version runs better and would let me do these things please tell me.

Thanks in advance.

Are you performing a clean install?

Are you using ddu?

Hi Mick,

Today I used DDU to remove my AMD R7 onboard graphics card, but no I didn't use it on the Nvidia as I feared I wouldn't be able to see my screen because I'd have no graphics card.
Please provide instructions on what to do if I need to use it.

But what about my screen? What if I can't see what I'm doing because I have wiped the drivers that control the video card will I still be able to see my screen and what I am doing

When the card was installed you didn’t have nvidia drivers either.

Basic display drivers still work.

So.. I am now running my 1050ti on the older driver.
But why are my games being restricted to Medium and some of them crashing?

No idea. Aren’t enough details for me to say.

Have you ran any benchmarks such as unigine to rull out game issues?

Have you only tried 2 different drivers?

Did actually use ddu like I suggested?
