Uninstalling Drivers?

David_2716

when installing a new graphics card do i have to uninstall the old drivers before i use the new card or once i install it. Might seem like a dumb question but this is my first time swapping a card and don't want to mess it up. Thanks for any advice.

Yes you need new drivers. Uninstall using ddu and get the new drivers from Nvidia's site.

What I like to do is, first go to the drivers website, download them, so you can DDU your old drivers, install the new card, start up PC and then instantly install drivers.
