Im planning a new alround PC build for architectural rendering and gaming.

but im torn between two options due to my budget. c.a €1000.- (including monitor and case) NZXT H500 and lg 29" widescreen monitor)

option 1:

CPU: Ryzen 2600x with wraith spire cooler

MoBo:Gigabyte Aorus X470 Ultra Gaming

Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro CMW16GX4M2C3000C15

HDD: Samsung 970 Evo 250GB

GPU: MSI GTX 980 4GB (second hand)

PSU: 600W i still have at home from a previous build

option 2:

CPU: Ryzen 2700x with wraith Prism rgb cooler
MoBo : Gigabyte Aorus X470 Ultra Gaming

Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro CMW16GX4M2C3000C15

HDD: Samsung 970 Evo 250GB

GPU: GTX 650ti (untill i have saved enough for a GTX 980 4gb or 1060 6gb) hopefully within 2 months)

PSU: 600W i still have at home from a previous build

the first build will give me gaming abilities straight form the box but gives me less power for the rendering and workstation work but with a less cooler

the second build gives me more power from the CPU and a better cooler but leaves me waiting for new money for a GPU

give me some advice plz.

kind regards from the netherlands

GTX 1060 is better way to go. 980 eats a lot of power and is getting old.

2700X will last you longer, for small price increase. Try to find it 2nd hand too.

Motherboard is good.

SSD is good.

PSU don't know the model.

I'd go for option 2. Never rush.

Main PC:

CPU: Intel Core i9 14900KS SP 109 (125P-79E) (6.1Ghz P-Cores 4.8Ghz E-cores) MC SP 88

CPU Voltage: LLC6 1.43V

Cooled by: Supercool Direct Die 14th gen full nickel

Motherboard: Z790 ASUS Maximus Apex Encore

RAM: GSkill TridentZ 2x24GB DDR5 8800Mhz Watercooled

GPU: RTX 5090 Palit OC with Alphacool Core Waterblock

Case: TT P3

Storage: 4x 2TB Sarbent Rocket Plus Gen 4.0 NVMe, 1x External 2TB Seagate Barracuda (Backup)

PSU: Corsair AX1600i with custom black and red cables with 2x Corsair 5V+ Load Balancer

Display: Samsung Oddysey G9 57" 240Hz Ver. 7680x2160 and

2x ASUS XG17AHP 240hz 17"

Fan Controllers:  6x AquaComputer Octo

Cooling: Three Custom Loops:

3rd Loop: 1x 240mm PXE CoolStream radiator with 1x EKWB Revo D5 pump (RAM ONLY) - Back of the case

Are you sure a 250GB SSD will be enough? I'd try to fit a 1TB hard drive in there too..

I'd personally go for option 2. The GTX 1060 is a better option to go for rather than the 980 as the 980 uses a lot more power.

Yes i know for sure.

i forgot te mention i still have 2 128gb samsung evo 860 ssd's on the shelf and a 500 gb 7200 rmp WD hard drive

it will take some drive management but i will have enough storage

i am realy building on a budget ;)

Okay, as long as you're sure it's enough that won't be an issue then. The 980 probably won't be the best GPU for you here as it's essentially a 970 with more VRAM so I'd go for the GTX 1060.
