Threadripper and Thunderbolt

I am a content creator and work with a ton of 4k and 5k Raw Footage. I have been using a Mac for quite a while now but am looking to building a Threadripper workstation before the end of the year. The only issue is I need Thunderbolt 3 as I have multiple Raided DAS that have thunderbolt 3. Has anyone on here tried the Titan Ridge Card on an AMD Threadripper with the x399 designare ex? I have been seeing a few posts of people saying that it will work but just want a confirmation before I put 5k into a system build. Thanks.

I have seen this video. He is using the Alpine Ridge Card. I have seen other forums that said with the Titan Ridge you do not need to mod anything.
