Im looking to get a pc going after a few years of having a bootcamped macbook pro after coming to college and leaving my gaming pc behind.

 

From my old pc I have an old i5-3450 and a Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB. Would either of these components be worth reincorporating into a new build? My mobo is fried and i would need to replace it. Im still a broke college kid and im wanting to be really frugal but get a respectable build going.

 

Im looking to do some gaming for sure, some 3D modeling in Solidworks and AutoCAD, as well as some CFD simulations.
