Laptop advice needed

Hello,

I recently started college and I need a new laptop. So what should it have?

1. Good battery life. It should be enough to last at least 6-8h (occasional web browsing, mostly viewing PDF documents & light editing of texts in word & excel). Of course with the brightness lowered and in battery saver mode.

2. A good screen. I want to do some photo and video editing with it so it should have good colors, resolution and so on.
3. It also needs to be available in black cause it's my favorite color and it should have a very sleek and attractive design. In other words, thin and portable.

4. My max. budget is 2000 euros.

After a very extensive research on the web I selected a few devices that seem to be very good:

a. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 (i5, 8gb ram, 256gb ssd)

b. Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 (same as above)
c. Razer Blade Stealth (i7, 16gb ram, 256 ssd)
d. Razer Blade 15 (i7, 16gb ram, 256 ssd, Nvidia 1060)

Option d. I think is overkill so I removed it pretty fast even though it's a great device.
I also removed option a. because when you add the pen and keyboard it's very very expensive.

So now I am stuck with option b. and c. They are very good and I believe that they both actually suit my needs.

But I have a hard time choosing.

So could you please help me make a choice? What do you think is the best option? Option b. or c.? I really need your help.

Go with the base Blade 15 IMO since it's the most powerful and battery is pretty good still

What types of workload you got ? Would you profit from having 16 GB over 8 GB of RAM ? Would a i7 make sense over the i5 for short bursts where you need power ? If those  not apply you might be better off with the surface laptop 2 because better battery life than the razer and this seems to be your prio 1

Usage? Preferred max weight in kg/lbs? Any links of online stores?

Weight is not an issue for me. If it's around 1-2 kg I am fine. Usage is web browsing, mostly viewing PDF documents & editing text in word & excel. But it also includes photo & video editing. And if it can I would certainly game on it. But that's not very important since I got a Gaming Tower anyway.

I really like the Surface Laptop but it only got 1 usb port, 1 displayport and 1 headphone jack. Which is like 0 connectivity.

So you're fine with iGPU? Where are you from?

I am from Europe. I don't really need my laptop to edit my videos and photos in a matter of seconds so iGpu should be fine
And the laptop should be portable and I feel like 15 inch is still a little bit too big maybe? Also touch screen could be useful sometimes I believe.
Do you think 1500 euros for a Razer Blade Stealth is a good deal?

Depends on you. If you can live with smaller screen then it's fine. There are plenty 15 inch models under 2kg. Fine with non-touchscreen?

Razer laptops have terrible QC+QA. Also terrible after sales support
