I'm becoming restricted by my Alienware pre-built and wish to upgrade, but I would like to continue using my GTX 1060, and not sell it. Price would be great to be $800 or less. My current CPU is an i7-4770 3.4Ghz, I would like to not downgrade from that, however I just want a bigger case. I tried transferring my current components to a new case, however with how the Alienware is built, the parts aren't compatible without the case it is currently in. Thank you in advance!

If you are keeping your CPU and GPU then you should just buy a new mobo, case. and thats it the Ram and powersupply should work fine.

This should be good.

New PSU is probably needed as the ones in prebuilts are usually crap and only work with that specific case sometimes.

Ryzen 7 3700X / 16GB RAM / Optane SSD / GTX 1650 / Solus Linux
