The specs look good, other than the RAM which I would be upgrading to 32 GB. I love that it comes with a 1080 Ti at 11 gigs. Does anyone have experience with this particular model? ALso, I can't seem to find the power supply specs for this particular machine. Similar Auroras range between 450 and 800 watts, apparently, from Googling the model number, but I can't seem to find it on this ad and the Costco CS reps have been very slow getting back to me.

Thank for any and all pointers.

Bob

In my opinion why would you spend $1800 on a pre-build alienware computer when you could not only save money, but build a better system for less. I suggest just ordering parts and building a system yourself that way you can get exactly what you want in your system and also dont have to spend that much on an Alienware that will probably take a shit within a year anyhow ?

Thanks guys, but I'm just not someone who enjoys building PCs, let alone is competent enough to do so. That's why I was posting in the Prebuilt Forum. Someday, I may be competent enough but right now I possess neither the time (I work two jobs, three counting the summer) nor the inclination. I really respect those of you who can do this, I really do. Its just not something that I'm really interested in doing just now.

If you know how to upgrade your RAM to 32GB you should have no problem building the machine. But if you had your heart set to prebuilt I think this choice is solid. Do some research to see what other brand has to offer for similar or less price.

I will again strongly echo the comment of other replies. For this money you should be getting the best hardwares but your not with prebuilt. Have fun either way.
