Microstutter, how do i fix it

Not sure on what causes it, but it seems to only apear after a few hours of use.

Restarting sometimes fixes the stutter, but as many times as it does, it does nothing at all.

All my drivers should be up to date.

I cant realy say how long i have had this, but i wouldnt say longer then a week.

Doesnt matter if i close everything in the background.

 

iam playing on a RTX 2080 + I7 4770k (stock)

 

My last option is to reinstall windows, but i realy dont want to do that, since instaling all games and programs again is a real pain the ass.

Is that CPU not seriously bottlenecking your GPU? 

 

Did you try using  DDU? 

What are the temps of your system?

As you are saying it happens after a view hour of gaming, did you overclock your computer?  Maybe you are not at a stable overclock?

I'd Say u have a bottle neck between GPU and CPU.

Yes i used DDU when upgrading to the 2080

i dont overclock,  GPU is always around 40 C and CPU is around 54 when playing league. 

 

Could the CPU be overheating in more demanding games?

 

But that doesnt explain why it sometimes stays like that over multiple restarts.

Its possible it could be thermal throttling.

 

When ur playing more demanding games keep an eye on the temperature, if it goes above 80*c then its quite possible its over heating.

iam going to look out for that, but i think it never went over 67 C and the clock speeds didnt go down

if it didn't go over 67*c then i doubt its a thermal issue.
