Windows Not Starting

Ok so during an update on my desktop pc tonight something went wrong and when restarting it got stuck on the windows 10 logo screen. Since then I have tried booting into startup repair and it is stuck on the preparing automatic repair screen. Have also tried creating a windows 10 installation usb and it won't load that.

If you plug in the USB and attack a key (usually F8) you can access the BIOS and change the boot Oder to have your usb first.

Then you should get the windows installer screen, where you should follow the guide below:

• When you see the Install Windows page, tap or click Repair your computer to start the Windows Recovery Environment.

• In the Windows Recovery Environment, on the Choose an option screen, tap or click Troubleshoot.

• Tap or click, advanced options and then click on Startup repair.

How long do you wait for that repair? In win 10 case, sometimes you need to be very patient.
