Is the drivereasy website (drivereasy.com) safe to use?

I recently went on the drivereasy website to try and find an answer for a problem I've been having (System | ntoskrnl.exe using a ton of my disk) and afterwards I noticed my antivirus was going crazy, like it was scanning for something, but it wasn't scanning for anything. Am I safe to assume that driverseasy.com is safe or did it give me something?

 

EDIT: I didn't install any software from the website. Thought I should say that.

I have had this once before and have found "SuperFetch" being the issue (at least for me). I disabled it via task manager>services but idk if anyone would recommend this.
