kali linux weird issue

If i connect to a vpn i can update the OS but if i connect with my main ip,without VPN it wont. It can access the internet but can not update anything! Any help?

Please answer:

What VPN do you use?

Can you give us logs?

What versions of software are you running?

64/32 bit?

What ISP/ reigon?
