Security camera for a data center.

Hi, recently my country has upped the compliance level for amount of security footage playback required for 60 to 90 days. Thus, I'm trying to find a security camera that can connect to my NAS within my rack. The datacentre has no wifi, so many wireless IP Cameras that do not have a ethernet plug are out of the question. Do any of you know a decent IP camera that has infrared and can connect wired? Pan angle doesn't have to be high since it will be sitting duck in the rack.

Thanks!

data centre will not extend to 90 days since there are other users in it. so we have to use our own cameras and NAS now. quite stupid i know but yeah...

This might be only for entertainment but apparently you need to be REALLY careful when chosing your model.
You don't have to watch the whole thing to get what I am saying. Watch 10 minutes should suffice.

TL;DW apparently security cameras are a security nightmare and should go rot in hell

If you want to go name-brand then one of the best in the industry is Axis. If you want to go cheap then I like Hikvision. Both have many models ro choose from.

Treat the camera’s management page like you would IPMI on a server and you will have no security issues. By this I mean ABSOLUTELY NO access to the camera from the entire internet - DO NOT give the camera a public IP, and if you have to port forward to it for some reason then make sure it is protected by an ACL to only your known office IP address(es)
