Hi I’m using the new rtx 2070 and I’m having trouble with it in games. In Fortnite at medium settings I can’t get past 90 FPS with frequent lag spikes, making it worse than my 1050 ti. When checking with afterburner the gpu is only under 30% load, while a benchmark like heaven puts it at full load. Is their some sort of setting I need to utilize the gpu fully? Thanks

Yes. They're called graphics settings.

 

What CPU/resolution are you running?
Latest drivers?

Doesnt the 9700k lack hyperthreading or is that another of the 9000 series chips?

Vsync on? Have you tried rolling back to an older driver version?
