6700k voltage

Hi,

 

My CPU is getting more voltage than I expected it to be get.

Here is a screenshot of the voltages from a short Rainbow Six Siege session:

The temperatures were a lot higher when I first bought my PC, they would sometimes go into the 90's with a normal gaming load.

When I searched I came across a bunch of people who said the normal voltage for a 6700k is 1.2 volts but mine is mostly close to 1.4 volts.

Does anyone know if this is normal or that the voltage is way too high.

And if it is too high what I can do about it, I have tried undervolting but I can only get it to 1.270 volts stable.

Also I am the second owner of this PC.

Cooler: Hyper 103.

You ought to get a better cooler, something like an Arctic Freezer 33 eSports One // @seoz //

VID mean little to you, check CPU core voltage or Vcore

The Vcore had a maximum of 1.328 volts
