Hello, I built my gaming computer just under a month ago. But after I plugged the digital led strip into the motherboard the computer shutoff and now it won't post.

Specs:

Mobo: Gigabyte B450 Aorus M

CPU: Amd Ryzen 5 2600 (never overclocked)

Ram: Team group Delta 8gb Ddr4

Gpu: Asus R9 270X

Cooler: Coolermaster master liquid ml 120L

Psu: Thermal take 650w semi modular power supply That isn't rated for efficiency.

When I press the power button all of my rgb leds turn on and at the bottom right of my motherboard there is a solid red light that has the word CPU beside it, and no post codes.

I removed the CPU, cleaned it and saw absolutely nothing physically unusual with the CPU or pins. I also hope it's not the CPU because to me I spent slot of money on that because I only deliver newspapers.

I have a 3year direct replacement plan on my motherboard if my motherboard is dead.

I have spare power supplys

Thanks in advance

What is your monitor connected to, GPU or MB?

If it's GPU try a different PCIe lane. I had this problem with my MB.

The led instantly turns on and won't. I think my Mobo might be dead, but OK hoping it's either the power supply or my Mobo because I bought 3yr direct replacement plan with Canada computers.

You might have plugged in the RGB incorrectly. Try to check if the RGB is connected somewhere else, also. Try doing a test run with the RGB strip plugged out.
