Wi-Fi connection drops

hi, just developed this problem recently. I have a Gigabyte WB1733D-I 1733Mbps PCI Express WiFi Adapter. 

My internet drops constantly. it will be at my normal 100mbps for about 3-10 minuites and then drop down to either flat or almost flat at 6bytes per second or something. this is a pain for gaming and so far i have tried to:
-roll back windows updates
-update and uninstall and reinstall drivers
-delete afterburner
-delete all VPNs
-disconnect and reconnect to the network and restart router
this doesnt happen on any other laptops or devices in the house, just this PC.
