Quick question: confused on compatibility.

Hey, 

 

I have a quick question about why the H200i case (mini-itx) and the SF450 fully modular power supply aren't compatible (according to PC part picker). I already have that PSU and am looking to upgrade to that case. I'm relatively new to PC building so I'm a little puzzled.

The case supports normal ATX sized PSUs. The SF is a smaller SFX sized PSU.

Ok thanks.  Is there absolutely nothing I could do to get it to fit (like mod it or something?) or would I have to get a new PSU?

I have a feeling it's probably a straightforward no but ideally I would like to save some money.

If you can return the PSU, that's an option. 

Or you could get an SFX to ATX adapter bracket, if that's not an option.

There are SFX to ATX brackets available everywhere.  It's very common for people to use an SFX PSU in that case with an adapter bracket.
