New power supply

Tseriesboi

specs:

i7-2600

leadtek gtx1060 6gb

gigabyte h67ma-usb3-b3

16GB ram 1333mhz

1TB hhd

Cooler master extreme power plus 550w(old)

Recently, I had problems with booting up. My pc would not boot, not all the time but randomly. My build is almsot 7 years old except for the gpu which I bought 2 years ago. I suspect that my psu is the one acting weird on me so I planned to buy a new power supply. Is Thermaltake Smart RGB 600 W good? I have an offer for around 57 usd/

The Smart Pro RGB is okay, the regular Smart not so much. I'd honestly just grab a CX450/550.

nice one

it isn't a bad psu. but I would suggest tier 3+, not some weird overkill psu, but just a plain 550 watt psu.

What leads you to the conclusion that the psu is misbehaving?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
