Need an upgrade

Im looking to upgrade my pc, which i feel is desperately needed. My current build is an am3+ rx 8370 8 core cpu, amd r7 260x gpu, 16 gig ddr3 ram. And i cant remember the mb model.

 

I am looking to replace all of the above. I was looking at Asus rog strix b450-5 mb with a ryzen 5 2600 cpu, not entirely sure on the gpu but aiming toward rx580, and again 16 gig of ram being now ddr4.

 

Reason i am posting is because i want opinions. Opinions on how this build will be, opinions on any better parts, any opinions. Bare in mind i am trying to stay toward as much of a budget as i can and im already up to $700 give or take for parts. 

 

Any help is apprediated.

The new setup you described sounds solid. Just make sure the memory is 3000mhz
