So i cant use this unless i use an adapter. Is there such an adapter?

If you can first double check, if you still cant find it there is nothing you can do.

There is no adaptor, because these 2 rgb methods use very different signals.

So you have 4 options.

Buy a new motherboard,

Buy an rgb controller which support addressable rgb,

Return the fans and get the non addressable instead,

Or just leave it be.

It's a three pin connector that you plug into the 4 pin connector on an ASUS board and the 3 pin connector of a Gigabyte board.

The MSI board looks to have a 4 pin connector. Plug it into JRGB1 or JRGB2 header on the board.

You say fan header 2. But its a 4pin. This is a 3pin, the one in the first picture. It wont fit there

It goes into jRGB header.

It seems your motherboard only has 4pin nonadressable rgb headers, and no 3pin.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Looking on MSI's mystic light website they claim compatibility and even show the header you should use.

yes but the 3 in 1 rgb 120pack has a different smaller controller, which has a 3 pin, i decided to return those fans, and get a different pack which connects via the usb on the rbg led controller, still ty :)
