So I plan on doing a couple ryzen builds in the future. One for my girlfriend and two for me and I've heard that ryzen benefits from faster ram speeds. But I've also seen that certain motherboards don't let you clock your ram at the speed that it says on the box. So basically I'd like to know if the ram I picked for these builds will work with the motherboards I picked and also what to look for to know for future reference so I don't have to keep coming back here. (yes all my PCs have people names lol)

any other notes or jokes about my builds are welcomed aswell.

As long as your RAM is DDR4 it should work, Ryzen is new so its still iffy though.

As for OC/XMP, most boards have an XMP mode or an OC mode where you can manually set the clock speed. My STRIX B350-F has the latter.
