Hey everyone!

I was wondering if this build would be able to perform well streaming Overwatch at very good quality.
I've already purchased the power supply and the case. Hopefully, that doesn't restrict me from making any changes. I was also wondering how many of each specific parts do I need? (Like the fans.)
Would it be able to handle three monitors as well?
Please let me know if I need to make changes to anything. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
[Budget: $1200]

I'm fairly new to PC building so, sorry if some of these are dumb questions.

At the moment the gpu will be a bottleneck the cpu, maybe go with a 8600k and a 1070? Three monitors would run way better on a 1070 but you could do it on a 1060.

Go with a 2700 and 1070/ maybe 1080 if you can afford it.

Will give you much better performance while streaming.

My advice is dial it back on the CPU and go for a better GPU, for streaming and gaming on the same setup you'll most likely want to do hardware encoding (videocard) so go for a GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 to handle gaming and NVENC encoding without impacting game play.

Is there a specific 1070 that I need? Searched it on Amazon and found several.

For streaming and gaming at the same time I do not recommend using x264 encoding (hardware) with Ryzen, the quality with NVENC is just as good without the performance hit.

I don't have much experience with GTX 1070s so I'd recommend just researching them to find the best value, ideally they should all be very similar so look for reviews on the cheapest one and work your way up from there. :)

Will do! Is all 1070's "ti"? If not, which would you prefer? With or without TI?

The Ti is more powerful than the ones without the Ti. I believe the 1070 Ti has similar performance to the GTX 1080 so if you can find the Ti for a good price get it, otherwise the one without Ti should be fine.

If I do find a good 1070, would I need to change anything else on the list?

use the pcpartpicker lists that were mentioned above like this one https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tV2W6s because you will have better frames and performance while streaming than just randomly finding stuff on amazon

ryzen would allow for the budget to fit a 1080, so he should go that route, especially if he wants to stream

That's a good point, but I think for games like Overwatch which are more CPU intensive having an Intel over an AMD would show better improvements compared to having a 1070 over a 1080. Don't get me wrong, if you check my signature you'll see that AMD gets my seal of approval normally, but in this instance for streaming eSports titles I have to go with an Intel CPU with NVENC encoding.

Well if that isn't part of the $1200 budget, then this would be the best of both worlds and would be great gaming performance and also be able to keep up while streaming https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jHLF3b (still in the budget range)

I thought i7's were meant for gaming and streaming? I didn't know the i5 was capable of that. How's it possible? ?
