Hey guys, I am a long time lurker, but I cannot figure out my situation here no matter what I do, so here goes my questions, hopefully someone can help. :)

First, my build:

CPU: Threadripper 2 2950X

MoBo: Asrock X399M Taichi

Memory: Corsair Vengeance LED 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3000Mhz (CMU16GX4M2C3000C15B)

SSD: WD 512GB PCI-E m.2

GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 2080

I am having an issue where I cannot get my memory to clock past 1400Mhz. It is absolutely AWFUL. I've tried doing it through UEFI, through Ryzen Master, no matter what I do, I cannot get the memory to clock past 1433. I have upped voltage and VDDCR SOC. I have voltage at 1.35V for memory, and 1.1V for VDDCR SOC. I looked through motherboard list of kits and it states my kit is compatible. I have tried removing 2 sticks and doing dual channel, same thing. Tried a G.Skill RAM kit, and also cannot get that to stick past 1433Mhz. The site states that supported speed for my kit is 2933Mhz and tried that, manually and XMP, no luck. I even tried 2133Mhz and it reboots, and when I get into Windows, it is back to 1433. I am pulling my hair out at this point, I have no idea what to do! Please help!!

What's reporting that 1433 figure? Sounds like the single data rate to me, and that the ram is actually running fine

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

This doesn't pertain to your speed, but I would encourage you to disable geardown mode if you have that option.  Your kit is cl15 and it is running at 16 which disabling geardown mode will prevent from happening.

But for speed the kit can take higher voltages if you wanna try 1.4V and see if that gets you higher than the 2860MHz you're getting now.
