I have a Dell XPS 8500 mid tower from 2013. Its got a i7 3770, 8gb ram and 2tb hdd.  Last year I decided to upgrade the graphics and installed both a GTX 1070 Founders edition and a EVGA 600B power supply.

Now, I have a few pieces from another system i parted out that i'd like to incorporate into my main rig.  I managed to scavenge a 250gb Samsung 850 evo sata m.2 and a Cryorig H7 cpu cooler.

I'm gonna get a 2.5" adapter since theres no slot on the H77 board. The 850 evo is B+M key so i think it should work according to the compatibility picture on Amazon.

I think i can use H7 on my LGA 1155 mobo as it originally came off a LGA 1151 board.  Its just too tall to fit inside the xps chassis.

I'm considering getting a Fractal Design Define mini C and transferring everything over. The fractal should give me enough height to use the Cryorig H7 cooler.
