HEADPHONE CHASSIS REPLACEMENT

Here's the sitch:

 

The headband on Pioneer HDJ-700 broke. I didn't want to do any sketchy modding to it, so I decided to partake in transplanting.

 

I cut out the drivers and managed to place them in a really crappy pair of headphones but at least they're usable now.

 

I just wanted to know if this was plausible and now that I've done it myself, I want to find a better headphone chassis to place my Pioneer drivers in. They're 40mm drivers. Any suggestions?
