Hi there.

So my friends RAM on hes classic rig just started giving him BSOD (memory error) now he only has 2GB's of RAM.

Mobo: MSI G41M SP20 (btw why does it look like he should have 4 dimms and not 2 -_-?)

CPU: Intel Core2Quad Q6600

So he needs RAM but I don't know the mobo nor the specs.

So please recommend RAM, I.E Corsair 4GB 1333

So this will 100% work, install then run?

It should just be plug-and-play, yeah.

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

double check to be sure, is the system running DDR2 or DDR3? the dimms should mention it on them somewhere

The mobo is DDR3, but can only take RAM with a max speed of 1333 Mhz.

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

means it was the most obvious choice ;)

So the RAM doesn't work -_-, when I put it in it gives me 3 beeps error (memory malfunction, I think) and everything else works it just doesn't show to boot windows, checked all the other DIMMS with other RAM and the work fine, *sad*
