2. I want to oc my cpu to 4.3ghz and I am really new to overclocking what voltage should I choose and load line calibration should I choose and other settings if Im missing some.

multicore enhancement disabled.

enable XMP

sync all cores to 45

manual override core voltage: 1.35v

loadline level 5

Ok but what about for a 4.3ghz OC what should my voltage be?

if you want to run 100mhz above stock, dont waste your time, the increased power consumption isn't even worth the tiny gain you get.

650w is enough for a fully overclocked 8700k and a 2080ti.

4.5ghz is a good starting point

A game!?!? For real? I was expecting something like aida64. Why a game? and whats occt?

a synthetic stress test, http://www.ocbase.com/

trust battlefield 1 gives a really good realistic CPU stress test (if you are CPU bound, lower gpu settings)

should also use cpuz for quick testing and monitoring voltage. Loadline will mean the voltage under load maybe different to what you set.

You also need to monitor temps

Can you please elaborate on what load line does please?

Quote

Load-Line Calibration, or LLC, is a BIOS setting found on most performance motherboards and applies additional voltage to your CPU under load to provide more stability while overclocking and compensates for high and low voltage fluctuations, to keep your voltage line to the CPU more stable.

When you slam the CPU under full load the voltage running into it will actually go down (as its pulling more current). Load line calibration gets around this issue by providing additional voltage as the load increases.

After 3 failed boots, it will change its settings back to default and auto boot. Then you change those few settings you want back and save it.
