hi everyone.

I was busy installing mint on a usb stick (i have reasons for it) and my system crashed. now mint installer and windows 10 can't access or format the stick. I already tried the clean command, but that wouldn't work, checkdisk doesn't work either. what else could I do?

Thanks in advance

it just says that it can't complete the format, so i'm out of luck or could I try anything?

probably a dead usb stick. They normally go read only on a error, so just get a new one.

Unless there is a read only switch on the usb, there really isn't anything to do. The usb sticks are basically designed to be disposable.
