Problem is, I'm already overbudget and that'll bring the build to 900 dollars.

Go for a nice ATX motherboard, since you invested in an expensive ATX case. Something like the 990FX-Extreme3

I wouldn't get the G43 mobo since it can have issues with fx 8 cores from what I've read.
