im making a new ryzen 7 2700x rig and ive heard memory has a major impact on the performance of the cpu. would this memory bottlenneck the cpu?

anybody have any experience with the stock wraith prism fan? good enough or does it need replacing for 1440 gaming?

also im not a pro so any advice on swapping out parts would be welcome im like £150 over my inital budget

You can get a cheaper motherboard to bring the price down, or get a 1080 instead of the 1080ti.

My 1070 runs 1440 just fine

Here's a tip: since you are already going for a x470 board, get yourself a good AM cooler and the 2700. Then just overclock to get the same performance as a 2700x.

overclocking is easy now.
