Yo! I use forums too much so, hopefully, this will be my last time while on this topic. I updated my Intel/Nvidia build to now be Ryzen/Nvidia and saved about a hundred bucks for pretty much the same performance.

I'm just wondering if this build looks solid to pick up ASAP I want to buy like tomorrow pretty much. Tired of waiting, just want some input! Thx!

NOTE: I'm buying the WD SSD and the EVGA PSU because they're both on sale. Everything else is changeable, even though I don't want to go through everything again.

I don't want to go far above 1600 dollars... I'll be streaming and gaming at 1080p until I can upgrade to 1440p. 144 Hz. Located in the US

I see no problems, other than the fact you didn’t put an EVGA PSU lol. I’m assumin you already have a mass storage drive? And you can always save $50 on a 2700. Your choice though, a 2700X is basically a semi-binned 2700

edit: if you want to spend $30 more you can get a 500GB Samsung 860 Evo

If you meant to type Seasonic psu, excellent choice. If you meant to change the psu in the build list, what model?

I don't believe Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro memory is compatible with the motherboard's Aura Sync lighting control.

This looks great. I prefer trident Z rgb ram but the Corsair ram is good too.

It is, the Asus forum has a discussion about it.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

By chance, do you have a link? I could not find anything positive.

I know the Vengeance RGB is compatible, but Corsair does not include Aura Sync with Mystic Light and RGB Fusion on the Vengeance RGB Pro web page.

Thx boys and girls!! Quick responses!!

Yes, I mixed up my PSUs. I was about to buy this (((https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438093&ignorebbr=1))) because it's on sale for the same price as a 650w ;) should I scratch that and go for a Seasonic?

I'm gonna overclock everything eventually which is why I have the 2700x... but I'm starting out with a stock cooler on the Ryzen for a bit. If I were to get a cooler right away, I'd get the White Cryorig R1 Universal... matches everything and looks coolio.

I have corsair peripherals, hence the ram.

I do have a mass storage drive... I'm gonna start from scratch and sell my old 500 dollar pc :)

My personal preference is the Seasonic Focus Plus Gold. The G3 is a good unit buy hardware.info test data indicates that it can be louder than the Focus Plus Gold and RMx.

Can't I use iCUE to control the sticks? I saw somewhere people were using them with iCUE... https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?104964-Corsair-Vengeance-RGB-Pro-and-AURA it looks like there you can't sync the mobo+ram but you can sync ram+peripherals... I don't mind.

and how MUCH louder? Because right now with my 4 10 dollar fans it's like a spaceship. I'm pretty used to it. Speaking of fans, what are some nice ones for a good price? I don't need RGB... but If I got rgb I'd get Corsair... I'm gonna need a sponsor soon lol

Sure, iCUE should work for all compatible components. However, it will not be able to control any RGB on the motherboard and I suspect it will not be able to control any RGB attached through the motherboard RGB headers. As a result you will not be able to sync motherboard RGB. Instead of using motherboard RGB headers you can use a Corsair Commander Pro.

If you don't need RGB fans, beQuiet Silentwings 3 PWM are pretty good. Of course Noctua fans are good, but ugly.

So let's say I don't want to spend 70 dollars on that, should I not get this fancy of ram? It actually seems like its pretty low cost for its speed and rgb stuff. I'm not sure of anything that equals it. let me know what you think. EDIT:   Ripjaws V series 3200Mhz 14 cas is boring, but the cheapest available.

and that test result is helpful. thx. Should I lose the 100w and go to Seasonic for the same price, or keep the noise and EVGA and gain the 100w?

It is good and good looking memory. iCUE will be able to control it so it can be coordinated with your iCUE compatible peripherals.

You would only need something like a Commander Pro if you are getting Corsair RGB fans. There are Corsair multi fan kits that include a Lighting Node Pro, which may work for you.

Since a 650W is over 200W above the estimated maximum power draw, I would feel comfortable going with the Seasonic. But the G3 is a quality unit, so you will have to make the decision.

Preciate it!!

I'll go with the quieter PSU, because I can't imagine reaching more than 650w... But, what kind of build would reach 750w to 1000watts? A workstation?

I understand what you were saying about the Lighting Node now, too. Thanks for your help!

Thanks to everyone else as well! I'm excited to get building! I'm planning on recording my build. I'll probably put it in a thread somewhere else :)

These days most general use and gaming systems are fine with 650W. Those that intend to heavily load their system and really push cpu and gpu overclocking probably need a bit more.
