Modern setup Host hogging my cpu

hello following  are screenshots of the program issue, my specs and laptop model along with the advanced seeting of the updates why is this modern setup host using a majority of my cpu forcing it to be pegged at 100% and making it ridiculously slot to do anything anyone have any idea how to shut it off. also my windows update will not go past 85% ive let it sit for days. and no progress after 85%. help please

that process is normal if you are updating to a new version of Windows 10. 

 

it being stuck on 85% for days is not normal though. 

 

what kind of system is this? is it a laptop or a tablet? and how much storage does it have?
