rtx are raytracing enabled cards from nvidia. they use a different way of lighting in games.

gtx are the older series cards without this technology, which is fine for most of the people, becouse raytracing isn't supported at all when writing this

Just to add. RTX is currently only in the 2070 and above series of NVIDIA cards.

 

2060 and below will still be GTX cards.

are they? I knew they don't have raytacing, but they would get tensor, right?

Nope, no RT and Tensor cores for 2060 below cards.

RTX is still more than capable of using GTX rendering technology. Just adding this because it might not be clear for OP.

it is kinda complicated. you'll have to watch a lot of video's and just ask some stuff here. you started with nvidia, that's going to be even harder with intel. where do you need it for?
