Folding@Home Passkey Error 'MISSING ARGUMENT: USER'

Hey Everyone,

 

I've recently started folding for folding at home on my old laptop and have completed 4 WUs, however, when I go to get a Passkey the website spits out a missing argument user error. Any ideas on how I could resolve this?

There was a bug recently on their end that isn't "registering" people's accounts which causes it to not generate a passkey for you as you're "not in the system" yet. @seoz is trying it now so maybe she can report back on if she's successful or not. If you just created your account though give it a couple of days before you try generating a passkey again.

At this point, I don't know if I'm entering something in wrong or the servers are just down. I've been trying for ages yet it still refuses to give me one.

Considering it took forever for your stats to just show up I'd say that they're having some issues still. At least you guys get to enjoy your rooms without the sweltering heat that comes with folding for a little while longer xD

Stats server went down “for maintenance” Thursday night and still isn’t back up.  The Pande Group is aware of the issue but if past issues with the Stats server are any indication it likely won’t be back up until sometime tomorrow afternoon On the East Coast, mid morning, West Coast
