AC:odyssey runs 1080p medium 30fps, Crysis 3 runs 1080p High (which is the minimum settings) 30fps in the past etc.

 

Basically consoles get basic features like lighting, shadow and AA. Other things are either just as low in the settings (textures), or turned off (tessellation, god rays etc)

What base display settings does a console (let’s say a normal xbox 1) run at? 1080p medium? 1080p ultra? 1440p medium?

depends on the game.
