Hi everyone, I'm planning to do a gaming build meant for 1440p 144Hz. My budget is around 1600-1800€ but it's very flexible around that point, meaning I'm very happy to spend more, but only if it means to maximize the value that I'm getting. Please consider that I'm Italian and I would prefer to stick to Amazon only. For now, it's something like this:

  • AMD Ryzen 2600x with stock cooler for 220-230€. Intel is too expensive these days... Will probably just let it overclock itself automatically and nothing more.

https://www.amazon.it/dp/B07B428V2L/coliid=I5XY24YCRIL36&colid=IHGCXGSD2B4S&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

  • MSI B450 Tomahawk for 110-120€. After some research this seems to be a very strong motherboard and it's also quite affordable. Plus I want something with RGB controller since I have already case and other parts with rgb.

https://www.amazon.it/dp/B07FQ9ZJD9/?coliid=I346DQYDG2NNI9&colid=IHGCXGSD2B4S&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

  • G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200MHz, 2x8GB for 160-170€**. There is a very cheap model, the **G.Skill Aegis 3000MHz for just 120€**, but these are much better looking and I'm worried about compatibility because not every board have them in qvl, while the trident z is basically always there.

  • Samsung 860 Evo SSD 500GB for 80-90€. Don't think I'll need a HDD since I have a couple external disks anyways.

https://www.amazon.it/dp/B078WQT6S6/?coliid=I1V184VBSGZTGJ&colid=IHGCXGSD2B4S&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

  • Zotac GTX 1070 Ti Mini for 427€. This is by far the cheapest 1070 Ti on the market here in Italy. All the other 1070 Ti are at least 30€ more expensive, the 1080 are at least 520€ and the 1080 Ti at least 700€. I find this to be the best value card I can find around, even if it's a mini version and probably won't overclock much. I would really like a 1080 or a 1080 ti though, so I'm kinda waiting, hoping to find a good deal on one of those (like... less than 500 for a 1080 and less than 650 for a 1080 ti, not sure if it will ever happen...)

Then there are some parts i already have, found a couple good deals some time ago:

  • Corsair RM750x for 93.99€ It was so cheap that the 650w variant of this PSU was 100€.

https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B079QGPVMC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

  • Cooler Master MasterBox MB500 for 56.99€. Never seen a better case for this price.

https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B078BDMZ1Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

  • Cooler Master Storm Devastator 3 for 35.99€.

https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B0775Z5FMC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

  • Dell S2417DG 1440p 165Hz TN Panel for 414.99€. Who cares if it's tn, this thing has 165 Hz refresh rate and Gsync for just over 400€, I bought it instantly.

https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B01KZIOSSQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

What do you think guys? Is there something you would change? Also, I must have a wifi adapter for this pc, because I don't have a LAN connection in my room. Does someone know a good adapter? (as cheap as possible as long as it's reliable, my internet speed is... like... 6Mbps so I don't need extrem

You really need a 1080Ti if you want to use that display to its full potential (165 or 144 Hz atleast). Unless you are happy with a 70~80 fps average, in which case you are fine with the 1070Ti

I know... But 1080 ti are so damn expensive that in terms of fps per euro it's not really convenient. They're not worth, they cost near double that 1070 ti while having... What? 40% more performance?

If i'm able to find one for less than 650 euro I would take it, otherwise I guess I can upgrade the gpu in 2 or 3 years
