Well done.  Any changes are going to be personal preference really, like the ssd.  Haven't read much about Adata having issues.

it's pretty good as-is, get a MyDigitalSSD BP5e ssd instead but otherwise it's fine.

We're not saying adata is bad. Adata is a really good company to buy ssd's from. we're just saying that Samsung makes great ssd's and we trust on them from personal use

I understand the storage might be a little iffy, but I tried to keep this 1k. I honestly haven’t seen a build this strong for 1000 usd

just saw that the ftw costs as much as the sc gaming. The FTW has way better power delivery. you should get that one.

and cheaping out just to stay a couple bucks under budget is really bad to do. there's a difference between value and cost

Prices drop a litte too, for example 16GB of RAM was $170-200+ just a bit ago.

Is two 580s stronger? Also most games aren’t optimized for 2 graphics cards(correct me if I’m wrong)

Not to nitpick too much but you simply put together items at their lowest current cost.  There are other ways of doing it that can spend a little more and perform marginally better in various ways.

 

It's a good build, don't get me wrong.

For one, in GoldenLag's build, you could replace the 580's with a GTX1080 for the same price and come out a little better.  Or just go with bigger SSD's to have Steam library one since load times are the devil.

 

Or since there's a gap from his build to your budget of $1000, you can even go used 1080Ti and come out high reso and refresh better...
