Normally I go with intel how ever their price increase and the rather shady things they have been doing has convinced me to go to ryzen this is my planned build build

some notes: I dont need a gpu I am using my  gtx 1070ti and I have plenty of hard drives to use

question what would be a good cooler and is the ram compatible ?

The memory should be compatible.

Dark Rock Pro 4 or NH-D15 are good cpu coolers.

There is a version of your case that includes a USB-C port. PCPartPicker doesn't have a listing, but Newegg is carrying the case, https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352094&cm_re=FD-CA-DEF-R6C-WT-_-11-352-094-_-Product.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Why not go the full 3200mhz?

Didn't know it could go up that high

I'm used to Intel who have very conservative supported speeds

edit: looked at the prices for 3200 dimms and thats why too expensive

Literally the same price as the RAM you have now: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/qGqbt6/gskill-memory-f43200c16d16gvgb

got it latest version of the build

Don't forget to enable XMP.

Only other thing I would mention is that you could save 50 dolla' if you want by going with the non 'x' version because it looks like you are going to overclock anyway. The 'x' version is just clocked higher out of the box. Most of the time you can get away with the regular 2600 and still have negligible performance gap.
