Gpu Drivers

I dont even know i updated my gpu drivers from Nvidia site and from windows pop up and now this happend.Before i updated the drivers my monitor kept turning off and on and it said:''The display driver has stopped responding and has recovered.

The Gpu is Nvidia GeForce 520 GT 1gb

did you pick the right drivers?

 

i'd say uninstall nvidia drivers, get the right ones off their website, install them, and give it a reboot.

for future reference:

https://www.geforce.com/drivers

search for your series of cards (for your case, geforce 500 series)

then select the OS you're running

click start search

and select the one you prefer (usually the latest one)

reinstall them, maybe something went wrong while installing them.

Install DDU, clear out every existing display drivers (including the on you installed), then reinstall that driver.
