Hi Guys,

My friend has offered to sell me this computer for £475 ($620) with the monitor and overclocked. It will mainly be for playing games and general use.

Is it worth going for this and upgrading the GPU (Any recommendations?) to something better or would there be better value in building a PC with a Ryzen?

CPU: Intel - Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair - H80 92.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock - Z87E-ITX Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 320GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Superclocked Video Card
Case: RIOTORO - CR280 Mini ITX Desktop Case  (£39.40 @ Amazon UK)
Power Supply: Super Flower - Golden Green HX 650W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply
Monitor: Dell - U2515H 25.0" 2560x1440 60Hz Monitor

Thanks ?

The monitor is what really brings home the value of that offer so I would take it and upgrade the GPU to a 1060 6GB or RX580 8GB

Thanks, the CPU shouldn't be a bottleneck if I get a RX580 then?

If there is a bottleneck, which I don't think there will be, it's going to be very small.

Thanks, do you think it's worth spending the extra and getting a new build or taking the pre built one and just upgrading the GPU. How much more performance would a Ryzen one give for the money?

Benchmarks show the 2200G a few percent below the 4690K, ignoring overclocks. A 2600 would net you two extra cores and threads so if you do any multi-tasking work or play games that favor CPU more than GPU then it would be a solid net gain.
