Installing Intel 4th Gen Graphics Driver

Intel/Microsoft refuses to install the graphics driver for my i5 4690k, saying the hardware is not supported then when I try again on "recommended" settings it says the operating system is not supported. How can I get it installed as I will need to use my integrated graphics while I wait on my "new" gpu to come in while my old one gets shipped out. Thanks for your help. My dedicated graphics is installed and being used. Should I not have it installed?

Instructions for frustration management:  

1) Sit at desk.   2) Repeatedly slam forehead against desk.
