Yes, you will get better performance. You can find other people overclocks and see how stable is with their GPU's.

But don't go too ham as a guy earlier today posted on the forum that after 2 years of use on his GTX 1080 with overclock, artifacts appeared.

You can always give it a go and see how it works out. Try using MSI Afterburner for overclocking it.
However, it likely won't give you much of a performance boost. At the end of the day it will still be a 1050 2GB so the performance you can get from it will be limited within the capabilities of the card.

What games are you playing and what resolution? What framerate are you currently getting with the card 'stock' (just factory OC applied)?
