Posted October 10, 2018 Hello. I new here and i need some help. Im setting up a PC with Ubuntu server LTS 18.04 as a caching web caching server useing Squid (I have omitted squid3). My question is can i implement a steam and or windows update cache with squid and how do i go about implementing it. Posted October 10, 2018 For Windows Update you would need to set up a WSUS server installed (on MS Server 2012/2016). For Steam there is a different product to install... there was an LTT video about that a few weeks ago... Posted October 10, 2018 I personally would setup SQUID/proxy on your router (PFSENSE/IPFIRE etc) instead of separated computer. Magical Pineapples
