problems with laptops

I have a lot of problems with audio on my laptop first sometimes my speaker doesn't work and then I have to disconnect them in device manager, reboot and then it finally works second there is no way to use an external microphone even with a USB audio adapter and the Realtek HD audio manager doesn't help (it was pre-installed) and it doesn't even let me chose the audio output (my laptop is the Asus r752sv-ty021t)

Download the latest audio drivers from Asus's website. Uninstall the current audio driver, reboot, install the new drivers, and reboot again. See if that clears it up.

As for the microphone, you may want to make sure its the default recording device. USB Microphones bypass your laptops sound processor altogether, so that is an unrelated issue.
