Steam app question

Go to solution Solved by FunkmastaFlex,

If you have the game files on a separate drive they'll be fine. When you do the reset make sure the games are in the game file directory before you click install on Steam, all the files will be verified and the games will work just fine.

Hello i was going to reset my pc and remove all my files on my windows drive C, and my steam apps (no games) installed on my C drive which on SSD installed, and the games was installed to my D driver which is on HDD, what should i do? if i install again my Steam to my drive C. does my games on HDD will automatically detect? or i need to do something?
