Linus Livestream setup

How many capture cards does Linus use? I'm pretty sure he uses 2 (one for the camera and one for the computer), but I just want to make sure...I'm a noob at this sort of thing and I wanted to start this vlog-talk show on my youtube channel, which is why I'm trying to educate myself on capture cards and X-split beforehand....any help is appreciated!

I'm pretty sure he only uses one. I think X-split can record screen and video simultaneously at PIP, no separate cards needed. You can even do it with none at all as long as you use your webcam.

Ok thanks...I'm probably gonna use just one capture card because I also do gaming and fraps eats up the CPU like nobody's business
