I thought about the msi gt75 8rg and the msi gt83 8rg but if u compared both of them u will find that both have ups and downs

for example...

the gt75 has the new intel core i9

the gt83 has an intel core i7

the gt75 has 120hz screen 1080p

the gt83 has 60hz screen 1080p / 4K

the gt83 has gtx 1080 sli (two gtx 1080)

the gt75 has only one gtx 1080

How about this one: Acer Predator Helios 500.

Quick overview: There're two or (3)? versions. one is i7 the other is i9 and the other will be AMD Based and use vega gpu.

Overall it has 144hz ips with g-sync or freesync display. 16gb ddr4. gtx 1070. Thunderbolt, dp, hdmi, usb c 3.1, usb A 3.0, battery life is basically a ups for your laptop it doesn't last long if not plug in. but the price is over 2k usd. I would recommend build a desktop instead. with 2k usd you can get Ryzen 7 2700x with gtx 1080 and ultrawide ips monitor: here is a build: Pc Partpicker

1. Clevo PA71ES runs hot. 1060 model is fine (PA71EP)

2. Prices of Origin laptops are super overpriced. And yet don't have any special offers/benefits
