Laptop shuts down

Soo my laptop last week shut down 4 times in total like totaly random i watch a youtube video sounds starts trippin and my screen totaly freezes. Event ctrl alt delete doesnt do anything. I checked and it are not the temperatures. Soo my question should i reinstall windows or is there any way to try repair this cuz its pretty anoying. Its an almost 5 year old laptop soo its at the end of its lifecycle but it should last 1 year more cuz than i get a new one for college anyways.

Reinstalling Windows is the last thing you should do. If something is wrong with your hardware, you may even end with broken Windows. And all your logs will be removed. So first check your logs in Even Viewer for problem recognition. Then try to fix that problem. It may be CPU, ram, motherboard, everything.
