So when buying an xbox controller only for using it with a PC, there seems to be 2 options.

1) Xbox one controller + a cable for pc

2) Xbox one controller + a wireless usb thing you plug into the pc.

So as the cable on the first package seems very much like a normal micro usb cable, my question is can i buy the second package and use it both with the included receiver, and with a random micro usb cable?

The price for both packages is the same, so i just want to get the better deal.

I will also plan to get the xbox play and recharge kit, because i dont use batteries.

For the same price i could get eneloop pro charger+ 4x aa 2500mah batteries, so i will get that instead.

Just now, Arika S said:

If it's an official xbox one controller, you're running Windows 10 and have Bluetooth you don't need the wireless adapter

Sadly i dont have bluetooth any more, as i found out that not all wireless adaptors have bluetooth, some are internet only for some reason.

Also i dont have an controller
